ACC Graphic Design Students Develop CATEP Website

With the help of ACC Graphics Arts instructor John Hall, and CATEP partner Barrett Blank of BB2e.com Company, ACC students Olga Orbidan and Margaret Bubke have developed this website as part of a student internship program offered by BB2e.com. Margaret and Olga have been working since November and will have the site ready for deployment by the beginning of April. This website will continue to be a work-in-progress as new features and “looks” are added. “Hats off” to Olga and Margaret for their hard work and dedication!

First CATEP Faculty Development Activity a Success!

On the 19th and 20th of February, trainers from the South Carolina Advanced Technology Education (SCATE) Center in Florence, SC came to Denver to implement WGBH Boston’s Getting Results training program. This is an educator training class geared specifically towards community college faculty. Faculty and administrators from Arapahoe Community College (Littleton) and Aims Community College (Greeley) attended this class, given at the Colorado Community College System campus at Lowry in Denver, CO. The trainer was Dr. Anne Brown, assisted by Elaine Craft – both from SCATE. The training was highly successful with faculty taking new skills and ideas back to the classroom.
